March Branch Meeting "Women in History." cont.   Southern New York Branch of the AAUW celebrated Women in History Month with a presentation honoring the life of Eleanor Roosevelt.

Branch member Eileen C. with her husband Dan created the slide show honoring Eleanor Roosevelt's life. As Professor Greta Wingate read the narrative, Linda K. and Nancy K. read excerpts from Eleanor's speeches and writings.

Below: Selected images from Eleanor's early childhood.  Included in the slide show are collages of Eleanor and her family at various ages.  In the first row center, Eleanor is pictured with her doll and her horse.  At the bottom right, Eleanor sits with her father Elliott Sr. and her two brothers.
